What is the difference between a long block and complete CAT engine?
A long block engine includes the block, crankshaft, pistons, connecting rods, camshaft, and cylinder head(s). A complete engine adds all external components: turbocharger, fuel system, oil pump, water pump, injectors, and accessories. Complete engines are ready for installation with minimal additional parts needed.
How long does it take to get a remanufactured Caterpillar engine?
